This was the sign to the entrance of ELWA – a community of missionaries with a hospital, church, radio transmitter and more. Our family spent a lot of time at ELWA and were friends with some of the missionaries.

    My children and I went here often at that time my partner was alive and he came too but not as often as I did’

    I was accepted as a missionary to represent the Monrovia International churches to visit the jail and give out little tracts .There were little books that I gave out to the prisoners.
