Money bus upcountry

Author: rehrich

Upcountry money buses would have jerry cans of petrol on board and would gas up as needed. “Car boy” would stick a piece of hose in the can and suck hard on the other end to get the gas to siphon. He’d try to get the hose out of his mouth before the gas reached the end and usually was successful.

Great shot of a money bus. Sadly, the entire fleet was destroyed in the wars, which severely hampers transportation options.
