My landlords from US Peace Corps days

Alfred Boyeah and Yah.
Alfred at that time was the secretary to the President at Cuttington College, 30 miles away at Gbarnga.
He had some influence with the Peace Corps, Kpain had at least one Peace Corps volunteer for many, many years because of him.
He was a deep thinker and a great conversationalist.
He left the country with his wife Yah during the civil wars, and sadly, died in Ivory Coast of heart failure in the 90’s
