The softball field was built and proved to be a very popular Sunday activity. This team was called “Pervola’s Pansies” and our opponents were called “Guth’s Goons” I forget who won. Great fun

  1. My dad, Gene Koons, who ran an electric shovel in the mine, is on the far right , 1st row with a baseball cap.
    I know he played a lot of golf, but he never mentioned softball.
