Worker at Firestone rubber plantation

Firestone employee tapping rubber trees at the company’s massive plantation. In 2005 the International Labor Rights Fund brought a human rights case against Firestone. One representative, in his testimony, said the workers tapped 650 trees/day (21 hours/day at 2 min/tree), leading the ILRF to suspect children were working alongside their fathers.
